How to Turn Chaos into a Well-Timed Dance

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

With that much time available, we should have enough hours in the day and the year. However, we often feel like we don’t have enough time to accomplish all we want to. Maybe you have felt that way once or twice yourself. But even if you had more hours in the day, would you spend them wisely or would you still want more?

There are many books, podcasts, and webinars on time management. There is value in setting up checklists, to-do lists, and timelines. These tricks may be great at work, but occasionally work creeps into personal time. We have all let that happen, some of us more than others.

The truth is, time management isn’t just about managing time, it’s about managing priorities. Without clear priorities, we find ourselves scrambling to get everything done and feeling drained at the end of the day. As if work isn’t enough to manage, you can’t forget the soccer game or to pick up the groceries.

Even if we were given more, would we ever truly feel that we had enough?

If you want to look at time management from a completely different perspective, take a journey with Giovanni Livera and Live a Thousand Years. This book had a profound impact on my life and changed my perspective on how I spend my time.

Here’s the main idea: What if you measured time in memories and experiences instead of due dates and unrealistic expectations? Meeting your work expectations and having the time to create a meaningful personal life do not have to be at odds with one another.

Coaching can help you set clear priorities personally and professionally by addressing the challenge of balancing work, family, and self-care. Clarifying your life values and goals helps you identify what truly matters to you, and creates a road map to reach those goals so you can focus on more memories instead of due dates.

Don’t let any more time pass you by. Let’s set your goals so you can begin living a thousand years!
