Why Coaching?
Coaching fosters an encouraging, supportive environment and a safe place for you to be vulnerable and real with your emotions and yourself. It’s not therapy. Guided coaching is not meant to tell you the answers, but rather to ask the right questions so that you can discover them. You’ve always had the answers, but sometimes we just need a little help to find them.
It’s a highly focused, goal-oriented interaction meant to give you specific action steps and a clear purpose for how to move forward. You will receive empathetic and compassionate concern at the same time as candid honesty from your coach, who wants the best for you and is looking for what in your life may be causing you to feel stuck. Your coach is a partner, challenging you to go beyond your current thinking and identify solutions to your challenges.
Like anything worth putting in the work to attain, coaching requires commitment. There are no shortcuts, and you must be honest and vulnerable. However, just like all the best things worth waiting for in life, your unique results will be well worth it.
Life Storm Coaching
At one time or another, we have all experienced a storm in our life, positive or negative. It could be the sudden loss of a loved one, the end of a marriage, relocating to a new city, becoming a new parent, or another significant life event. Changes both expected and unexpected can cause us to pause and feel frozen, unsure of what our next move is.
Life Storm Coaching helps you resolve that uncertainty. Whether the change in your life has created a small thunderstorm or a large tsunami, life storm coaching can help you get back on track through deep, thoughtful questions that can uncover the root of your struggles and frustrations. You will be able to use what you learn to work through specific action steps to attain your goals.
Don’t let your life storm define you. You may not be able to control the storm, but with life storm coaching, you can control how you respond and grow through the challenge. You define your outcome.
Career Coaching
No matter what stage of your career you’re in – just starting out or with the end of your runway in sight – career coaching provides you with the opportunity to not just call out your goals, but to plan your specific actions steps toward making those career goals happen.
You want that promotion within the next two years, but how will you set yourself apart? You want to be a better manager, but how can you build trust with your people? You’re not sure if you’re passionate about your current role, but how can you discover what the best role for you truly is? Through career coaching you can learn what roles speak to you, what is most important to you as you map out your career, and what timeline of action steps you should put into place to meet your goals.
Retirement Coaching
No matter where you are on the road to retirement, coaching can be a tremendous asset to your future. These coaching sessions walk you through the book “What Color is Your Retirement Parachute,” then add a holistic approach to discovering what you are seeking from your life overall after retirement.
The materials cover the categories of prosperity, health, and happiness to help you discover where and what you would feel most fulfilled in. Would you like to work part-time? How about continuing your education? Do you want to live close to your family or your spouse’s? (They live across the country from each other, and you will have to choose one). This approach to retirement coaching is completely removed from the stereotypical financial planning, taking a holistic, whole-person focused approach meant to get to the root of who you are and what makes you tick.
